Jeremy Grogan leads the Part 107 Waiver Team located within the Safety Standards General and Commercial Aviation Policy Branch of the FAA. Mr. Grogan oversees and coordinates with a diverse group of subject matter experts who perform safety risk management analysis of part 107 waiver applications. Mr. Grogan other duties include stakeholder outreach, UAS policy development, UAS guidance development, international UAS policy, DroneZone development, DroneZone enhancement, and providing subject matter expert assistance in UAS rule making activities.
Mr. Grogan has a diverse manned and unmanned aviation background. Mr. Grogan is certificated by the FAA as an Airline Transport pilot and Flight instructor, and has accumulated 20 years of manned commercial aviation operating experience and 30 years of unmanned aircraft operating experience.
