Michael Lukacs is the Deputy Division Manager for Forecasting and Statistics within the Office of Aviation Policy and Plans. The division is responsible for the development of the FAA’s UAS Forecast, Terminal Area Forecast (TAF) and the FAA Aerospace Forecast. These products provide forecasts of passenger demand and aviation activity in the United States at both a national and airport level. For the past decade, he has been involved with unmanned aircraft from either a forecasting or economic analysis perspective. Mr. Lukacs has a B.A. in economics from George Mason University and an M.A. in economics from American University.
