Accomplishments
Operations - Implemented operations management system to ensure standardized policies, and practices for all operating centers resulting in common training, safety, maintenance and operating procedures. This system reduced redundant documentation by 50 percent, while improving efficiencies between diverse platforms and different geographic locations.

Financial Management - Balanced, reconciled and executed $140M budget for major operating line. During this period maintained productivity level in spite of a 20 percent increase in labor and maintenance costs and a flat budget.

Team Building -  Established and led a multi-disciplinary configuration control team to evaluate, approve and engineer all modifications and installations to research aircraft ensuring standardization of process. In the first year alone eight systems were expedited through this process meeting FAA certification requirements.

Program Management - Managed all aspects of operations to support diverse environmental data collection requirements. Planned, programmed, and budgeted for realigned organization while reducing annual asset allocation timeline by three months.

Customer Support -  Led restructuring of 600 person organization to dramatically improve roles and responsibilities, client alignment and customer satisfaction with no increase in personnel or budget. 

Problem Solving - Reduced cost of aircraft maintenance and increased availability both by 20 percent annually by revising maintenance cycles based on utilization rates and lifecycle analysis. Provided analysis and data to ensure continued use of aging research aircraft for national hurricane program up to additional an additional 15 years past proposed retirement date.
